Optional icon photo in sidebar, no visible permalinks on any post types (just click the photo or text of the post to go to the permalink page), optional endless scroll and a few colour options.

Instructions on how to have extra links categories in the sidebar:
Enable custom HTML, which you can find under the Theme tab on the customize page, search (cntrl + f) for Navigation and at the end of all the default links you will see </ul> which signifies the end of an unordered list. Directly after that, you can make another list of the same layout, for example, a tag list:

<li><a href=”/tagged/tag3”>Tag 3</a><li>
</ul> 

but remember that if the tag is two words, eg “Self Portrait” then you need to add an underscore in place of the space, so the link would become /tagged/self_portrait
